Mari Alvarado Tsosie is an attorney who has immigration experience on both a personal and professional level. Ms. Alvarado is a first-generation American, the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Prior to establishing her practice, Ms. Tsosie graduated from BYU-Provo, earning a B.A. in Family History Studies. Ms. Alvarado Tsosie later attended law school and earned her Juris Doctor law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School.
Ms. Alvarado Tsosie worked for law firms in Provo during and after law school, and she also completed an internship with Catin, Calderon, Ramirez, Gutierrez-Aste International Law Firm in Mexico City. After working with a Provo firm handling deportation cases, Mr. Alvarado Tsosie began her own practice, which handles immigration law, family law, and criminal defense matters. Ms. Alvarado is a member of the Utah State Bar, the Minority Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
